Calling all Women and Girls of Southern Maryland!
On March 8th, come to Leonardtown and join in a celebration for
~~the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment
~~Marking 2020 as the Year of the Woman in Maryland
~~Recognizing Women's History Month
~~Celebrating International Women's Day
We have a number of St. Mary’s County community partners planning the event which will be held on March 8, 2020 from 2:00-4:00. Our theme is Proudly Drumming for the Vote: St. Mary’s County Celebrates The 100th Anniversary of the 19th Amendment Giving Women the Right to Vote. It will be held in Leonardtown in the Town Square. This is a non-partisan event.
Come wearing a costume of your favorite woman or girl! See you there!
