Billboard Fund - back for 2024!
We will be checking on the budget needed for this project depending on the number of months we rent the billboard. In 2022, the minimum fee was $2,500/month. While recurring donations are much appreciated to cover the cost, we will have to pay the billboard company all of the money up front to reserve our space and time. If we want to have the billboard reserved for a month close to the election, we have to pay and reserve it early. Please chip in what you can as soon as you can to help get our message out. We plan to rent another billboard for the 2024 elections, so the club will be raising money toward that goal.  Each year, the Scholarship Fund provides a scholarship to a graduating senior at each of Calvert County's four public high schools. In past years, the amount was $1,000 per school, but we recently increased the amount to $1,250 per school for 2022. These funds are raised by our club as well as other county Democratic organizations such as the Central Committee, Riverside Club, and the Democratic Club.
